Photoshoot with Nikkiita Freespirit

Hello!

So I did a photoshoot in June this year but I have only just got the photos back to share with you all! I was kindly asked by my friend Nikkiita to do her make-up for her new portfolio for modelling & dancing. This photoshoot was my first shoot since qualifying so I was a little nervous! It was inspired by black swan which is a little outside of my comfort zone as I usually only do evening, prom, bridal...basically everyday make-up so this was a little more controversial!

After doing Nikkii's make-up we did a few shoots indoors at Eames Paul's studio. This was more hands on that I expected, I was basically Nikkii's assistant. Making sure her hair was okay, make-up still looked good & for some shots I had to hold & position the fan to get her outfit to float into the right place & create movement to the photos. She also wore some shoes which she couldn't for the life of her stand in so I had to be at her side ready to catch any falls! Here are my amateur shots of the shoot in action!

Here are a few which made the final cut...

After we were happy with the photos we got we quickly packed up & moved to out next location which was a man-made waterfall. Again here are my amateur action shots! It was so beautiful here.

Here are a few which made the final cut...

We then moved to our third & final location which was some old abandoned RAF buildings. It was completely abandoned & decaying. I loved this location. The old A-level photographer & artist in me wanted to get my camera out & take photos for myself! It was falling to pieces but it was beautiful in a weird way. The textures of the fallen roof tiles, the broken glass, the colour from the decay & rot of the building made it such an interesting place to shoot!

How creepy does this photo look? I almost expected someone to jump out at me!

Here are a few which made the final cut. These were by far my favourite shots. I wish the photographer kept more photos from this shoot as they create so much impact! Nikkii was absolutely filthy by the end of this shoot as she was throwing around flour & quite frankly the place was filthy!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I have been up to! I look forward to doing more shoots like this as it really lets your imagination flow free!
